Staff Accountant | Santa Monica, CA

Our client, a highly respected investment management firm, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its collaborative accounting team in Santa Monica.

This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with 1-2+ years of experience who is looking to grow their career in a sophisticated financial environment with exposure to multiple entities, investment operations, and a strong team culture.

What You'll Do:

• Process day-to-day accounting transactions and journal entries
• Assist with month-end close and account reconciliations
• Support accounts payable, bill pay, and employee expense reimbursements
• Maintain accurate accounting records across multiple entities
• Research and resolve transaction discrepancies
• Partner with team members on process improvements and special projects
• Assist with the ongoing implementation and utilization of Sage Intacct

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• 1-2+ years of accounting experience
• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and reconciliations
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong Excel skills
• Experience with Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, or Concur is a plus
